  Captain America Shines in U.S. Victory Over Jamaica         On Monday, November 18 th , The U.S Men’s National Team defeated Jamaica 4-2 to advance to the Semi-Finals of the CONCACAF Nations League . The U.S. looked to continue their momentum after defeating Jamaica 1-0 in Kingston during the first leg of the quarterfinals. The U.S was led by their star player, Christian Pulisic , who broke the deadlock in the 14 th minute of the match with an assist coming from Juventus player, Weston McKinnie . The U.S did not let up and bagged another 2 goals shortly after . Going into halftime the U.S was up by an impressive 3 goal margin. The final score ended 4-2 and the USMNT move on to the sem i-finals where they will face off against Panama in a 2-leg fixture. Barcelona faced off against second place Real Madrid in the 257 th El Classico . El Classico is perhaps the greatest rivalry in World Football and its latest installment did not disappoint. Real Madrid suffered an embarrassing 4-0 home defeat at the Estadio Bernabéu . F.C. Barcelona came to play against a star-studded Real Ma drid that featured the likes of Kylian Mbappé , Vinicius Jr ., and Jude Bellingham . The match was scoreless at halftime wit h an underwhelming performance from their star player, Mbappe. The Frenchman racked up a record of 9 offside calls in the first half which is more than he has ever had in his career . Argentina faced off against Bolivia in a 2026 World Cup qualifying match this past Tuesday, October 15 th , 2024, in Buenos Aires . With yet another hattrick for the 37-year-old, he is now tied with his career-long rival, Cristiano Ronaldo in International Hattricks with a staggering 10 Hattricks! Lionel Messi surely spun back the clock with this performance, and he proved yet again why he is considered the ‘Greatest of All Time ”.   Champions League Soccer is Back!          You heard it right, the pinnacle of European Soccer, The UEFA Champions League is back in action. The Champions League is the most prestigious trophy in club soccer and also one of the most difficult as well. This year is even more difficult than ever with the addition of 4 extra teams entering the tournament making it 36 total teams as opposed to the previous 32 teams. The favorites for this year’s tournament include last year’s champions, Real Madrid as well as F.C. Barcelona , Arsenal , Manchester City , and Bayern Munich . Some of the players to keep an eye on include Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid), Lamine Yamal (F.C. Barcelona ), Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City). There are many questions being asked, who will win? Who will lose? The one thing that is certain is that the Champions League never disappoints!
